Welcome to Brandon Michael Interpreting! This service focuses on American Sign Language Interpreting and Deaf community advocacy.
My name is Brandon Glass and I have been studying ASL and involved in the Deaf Community for over a decade. I first became interested in Sign Language Interpreting in high school while on a band trip to Disney World. I had started taking the language as my foreign language in high school, and while in Magic Kingdom, I noticed an interpreter providing services for the performance. That was the first time I had seen the language in use and I was enthralled! It was from that moment that I decided I wanted to become an interpreter myself. Through the rest of high school and then college, receiving my Bachelors Degree in Deaf Studies from Towson University, I immersed myself in the culture and beautiful language within!

Interpreting
Brandon-Michael Interpreting is a language facilitation based service providing English-to-ASL and ASL-to-English interpretations for a variety of settings including vocational, recreational, and performance venues. BMI prides itself in providing quality and ethical services abiding by the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf's Code of Professional Conduct. The governing policies applicable to all American Sign Language Interpreters.
Advocacy
Following the bi-lingual, bi-cultural framework of interpreting, Brandon Michael Interpreting also strives to provide a cultural understanding of interactions and business engagements with all clients. BMI fights to empower the Deaf Community and provide appropriate accommodations within all of its business relationships.
